Ganesha is the result of my fascination with  mythology and middle eastern culture, but before his fabrication all I really knew of him was his appearance. What was really interesting was that after doing some research I found that he symbolized some archetypal forces that have often been insufficient or overlooked in my life. Ganehsha symbolizes the root chakra, base needs, groundedness, earth, and physicality. He is also known as "the remover of obstacles".  Making him has inspired me to focus more attention on these critical forces and I hope that he will inspire you to do the same.
